Authentic chain math on an 8-digit display, with backspace and a 2nd key hiding percent, square root, sign flip and the memory bank. Turn the Digital Crown to scroll back through your calculation history and tap any result to recall it.
The same 2nd layer opens a scientific calculator (Pro) — sin/cos/tan and their inverses, ln/log, x², xʸ, 1/x, π and a DEG/RAD toggle — and from there, date math (days between dates, date ± N) and time math (h:mm arithmetic with carry). C always returns to the plain calculator.

The converter opens a list instead of making you press a key over and over: turn the Crown to scroll, tap to pick. Every conversion is listed in both directions, so AUD→USD and USD→AUD are separate entries and there is no direction key to remember. The display shows both lines — what you typed above, the result below, each labelled.
Your home currency — any of twelve, set on the iPhone — against the US dollar, euro, yen, pound, Australian dollar and New Zealand dollar, on daily European Central Bank rates cached on the watch so they keep working with no signal. Plus kilometres and miles, centimetres and inches, kilos and pounds, Celsius and Fahrenheit, litres and gallons.

Your next event as a headline — a countdown, the start time and the title — with the two events after it listed underneath. Turn the Digital Crown to step forward through the week ahead, and long-press to snap back to whatever is next. A meeting already under way reads NOW. Choose which calendars it draws from in the iPhone app, so birthdays and holidays stay out of the way.
Read-only, always: LCD-84 never creates, edits or deletes anything in your calendar.

A bar graph of the ambient level through your day, the current reading in decibels, and today's peak — with a marker drawn at 80 dB, the level where sustained noise starts to damage hearing. The number stops being trivia and starts meaning something.
It reads the sound measurements your watch already records, so it charts hours rather than reacting to a clap — and it never switches on the microphone.

Fish icons rise and fall as the day's bite builds and fades, with the next major and minor feeding windows, the moon phase and the date on one LCD. Turn the Digital Crown to scrub the shown day up to a year ahead — planning a trip — and long-press to snap back to today.
