Pulse is sold through the App Store, and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to it. These terms sit alongside that agreement and describe the things specific to this app; where the two disagree, Apple's governs.
Pulse Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly. Payment is taken by your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in iOS Settings under your Apple Account; cancelling stops the next renewal and Pro remains active until the period you have paid for finishes.
Prices are shown in your local currency in the app before purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by the developer.
Pulse measures networks by sending ordinary diagnostic traffic — ICMP echoes, DNS queries, TLS handshakes and the like. Measure networks you are entitled to measure. Some organisations treat scanning and probing as prohibited regardless of intent, and that is a matter between you and them.
The figures are what this device observed from where it was standing, at that moment. Paths change, routers rate-limit, and Wi-Fi is weather. Verdicts and AI diagnoses are readings of those figures and can be wrong; they are offered to inform your judgement, not to replace it. Nothing here is a warranty that a network is sound or unsound.
Diagnoses are generated by a large language model from the run you send. Models can be confidently wrong. Check the hops a diagnosis names before acting on it, and see the privacy page for what a diagnosis sends.
The AI diagnosis depends on a service the developer operates and on Anthropic's. Either can be unavailable. Every other tool in the app works without any of that.
